Some gifs of Light GRUN's progression


Hi all!

I've found some gif's of the progression of Light GRUN that I thought I'd share.

Here is a side debugging cam view of the procedural generation and clean-up taking place:

... imported into Godot to add colour and lighting:


Adding lighting environment, torchlight, torch sprite, health counters, loot drops.. toyed with having ammo as a limited item too... it wasn't fun! You either had none or too much!


After this point I added a colour changing background every so often and a speed increase every 500 distance units to make it harder and feel more like a game. This was based on feedback from a family and friends group of play testers!
